Honorable mentions list (ending)

As I had promised on my old site, here is my honorable mentions list for the best anime endings. There is no particular order for this one. It is just some songs that I thought would be good but were not good enough to make it on the real list.

First video is the long one and second video the short version

 “Ashita Boku wa Kimi ni Ai ni Iku/ I will go and meet you tomorrow" by Wakaba (Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi)

Try saying that 3 times fast but, yes Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi has been removed from the list ◕‿◕. The animation is quite lovely and just plain cute. Even though it sadly only focuses on only Onedera and Takano the problem with that is there are more characters. The opening clearly showed them all off so there would be no surprises. Not only that but most of the viewers would have already read the manga so they know that there are other stories. But...I digress, the song is enjoyable to listen epically when it’s snowing.

“Take off” by 2PM (Blue exorcist)  

Another guilty pleasure song. There isn’t too much to the animation. It’s just driving through a CGI city with Blue exorcist stuff and that’s it. I still enjoy the song probably because I can imagine Rin Okumura singing then Shima interrupting the song. Why? I have no idea ^.^’ I know I’m repeating my but it sounds like an American pop song that was thrown and this time 2PM translated into Japanese and made money on it.

“I’m alive” by BECCA (Black butler 1)

“Lacrimosa” by Kalafina (Black butler 2)

“Bird” by Yuya Matsushita (Black butler season 2)

Now Black butler has been officially off my list let's discuss why I had removed all of these songs. I’m alive is an English song and I am still abiding by the rules I had set up on Halloween. Lacrimosa is nice but the pictures just scream spoiler for season 1. Bird is pretty and has nice but questionable animation. But it feels kind of blander compared to the rest of the songs (mostly to Lacrimosa in my opinion). 

“Style” by Kana Nishino (Soul eater 2)

A kind of boring sounding song followed by ok animation. Unless your a SoulxMaka fan you might like it.  It’s a nice sounding song but it just goes nowhere. But trust me when I say it deserves a mention due what it replaces. You see what I mean once I explain it later~
